This record naturally comes - first and foremost - with a gorgeous cover (the rerelease anyway).

Musically I find Never Is Forever the most unusual of all TRBNGR records. With the exception of "Black chrome", I cannot see a whole lot of deathpunk in this one. Oddly enough, whenever I listen to the record it always reminds me of The Cure. Even though that comparison will not at all stand, I think that this album somehow has a Wave-touch of the 80's. So far no one else besides me has ever recognized this, which may be due to the fact that it really sounds very awkward.

The most outstanding songs on this record are - as mentioned earlier "Black chrome" (a bombastic hit with aggressive drive and great rock which could have been just as well a part of Ass Cobra) and the very unusual "(He´s A) Grungewhore". The latter may start very quietly, almost balladlike, but only to rise up more and more to become a real smasher. Anyone who will not find themselves enthusiastically seesawing with its feet on this one must be lost anyway.
