Apocalypse Dudes has ultimately brought fame and immortality to TRBNGR. Unthinkable - but if this record had never been published I had never come to know TRBNGR. What distinguishes Apocalypse Dudes from Ass Cobra is first of all the better, richer & very polished Rock'n'Roll-sound. TRBNGR also have become a lot more melodically and they've discovered GlamRock. Yes, they really did! What reminded you of Poison Idea before, now TRBNGR are bringing the Ramones, MC5, AC/DC etc. back to your mind…. with the single little distinction that TRBNGR do have better songs. Hank sings as demagogic as never before, Euroboy acts as a real guitar goddess and Happy Harry has written songs for eternity. I can't tell you how many hours this record has sweetened for me. Sometimes I even felt like I couldn`t live a single day without Apocalypse Dudes (nowadays I would rather say this about Ass Cobra). Apocalypse Dudes too is a MEGA-album and possibly - as Jello Biafra said - the most important PunkAlbum of the 90' s. My favourite songs: - Seldestructo Bust - Back To Dungaree High - Good Head
